Treatises and Documents, Journal of Ethnic Studies

Since 1960 the IES has been publishing the journal Razprave in gradivo/Treatises and Documents. As the only Slovene specialized journal for ethnic issues it publishes articles by Slovene and foreign experts. Summaries are published in English or another world language. So far 78 issues have been published; the journal did not appear between 1967 and 1973, and number 22 was not published.

Treatises and Documents, Journal of Ethnic Studies welcomes the submission of scholarly articles for the next thematic issue on Research of Slovenehood in Croatia: yesterday, today, tomorrow in June 2018.

The editors welcome the submission of articles on relevant issues concerning different theoretical approaches to the research of Slovenehood in the past and present time, along with the future vision of this research, different aspects of the life of Slovenes in Croatia and their offspring in the past, present and future, current problems of Slovenes in Croatia, examples of good practice among researchers from Austria, Italy and Hungary, that could also be applied in the territory of Croatia.

The thematic issue will be edited by Barbara Riman (guest editor), and by a guest editorial board.

All papers are subject to a double blind review procedure.
About the journal see this link.
Guidelines for contributors are available here.
Deadline for submission:
October 30th, 2017.

Articles should be submitted to: editorTD@guest.arnes.si.
